Maximize Floor Space with Industrial Pull-Up Retractable Curtains
Eliminate the Obstructions of Traditional Lateral Partitioning
In facilities where ceiling-mounted tracks or side-to-side sliding curtains are impractical, managing workflow and containment can be a constant struggle. Traditional partitions often require floor tracks that create trip hazards and obstruct forklifts, or they take up valuable horizontal wall space when retracted. When you need to isolate a workspace—such as a sanding bay or chemical wash area—but must maintain clear overhead access for cranes and tall machinery, standard curtains simply won't suffice. Without a vertical retraction system, your facility remains cluttered, and your production floor loses the flexibility needed for large-scale operations.
Vertical Retraction for Unhindered Industrial Access
Our pull-up curtains provide a heavy-duty, vertical solution designed to disappear when not in use, leaving your floor and overhead space completely clear. Engineered from high-tensile reinforced vinyl, these curtains utilize a sophisticated pulley or motorized roll-up system that gathers the material at the ceiling level. This design is perfect for high-traffic zones where side-sliding curtains would interfere with doorways or adjacent workstations. Each system is manufactured with industrial-grade hardware and flame-retardant PVC, offering a durable barrier against dust, sparks, and temperature loss. By utilizing vertical storage, you ensure that forklifts and overhead cranes can move through the workspace without risk of snagging, providing a sleek and professional environment that adapts instantly to your daily operational needs.
Strategic Applications for Pull-Up Partition Systems
- Aviation and Large Vehicle Hangars: Creating temporary climate-controlled or dust-free zones around oversized assets while maintaining clear paths for tail sections and wings.
- Manufacturing Cells with Overhead Cranes: Isolating welding or grinding stations without interfering with the path of ceiling-mounted hoist systems and bridge cranes.
- Loading Docks and Warehouse Bays: Providing a fast-acting thermal or weather barrier that retracts fully to allow unobstructed passage for high-mast forklifts and stacked pallets.
- Clean Room and Laboratory Vestibules: Establishing vertical air-locks that prevent cross-contamination between zones while minimizing the physical footprint of the curtain hardware.
Crank Up Style
- Turn handle to the right to raise the shade, turn handle to the left to lower the shade
- Shade will stay at any height in between full raised and lowered
- Removable handle can be stored in a closet when not in use
- Brackets rotate for mounting to face of a wall or the underside of a ceiling
- Max size for the shade is 12' x 12'
Velcro Gap Flap
- If you need a better seal for the weather then we can provide a Velcro attached flap.
- Can attach shade-to-shade or shade-to-wall.
- The flap would need to be removed before the curtains roll up.
- We need to know the distance between the two shades so that we can properly cover the gap. As such, its ideal if we make these "After" you install your shades. Simply email us and give us this dimensions then we will ship the flaps.
- The shades will not roll up straight if only one side has Velcro. So we would need to install Velcro on both sides even if the other side is not connecting to another shade / wall.
