You can find clear film online for around €40, but it typically lasts only minutes in harsh weather. AKON does not supply film material, as we focus on industrial and commercial-grade solutions. We use thick 20 mil and 30 mil clear PVC designed to withstand winter conditions, strong winds, and UV exposure. Our material is also custom-sized, so you don’t have excess plastic flapping in the wind, which not only looks untidy but also performs poorly at keeping out the weather.

SHRINKAGE
PVC expands and contracts slightly with temperature changes and folding. Tarps are made to your exact size, but may vary by up to 2.5 cm after shipping and weather exposure. Allow a little tolerance when measuring.
HEAT SEALING
Heat seals are placed either vertically or horizontally at AKON’s discretion for tarps wider than 137 cm.
If you prefer to specify heat-seal placement, just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
