Freezer and Cooler Strip Curtains are manufactured from compounds formulated to be suitable for incidental contact with food products, including meat and dairy, in accordance with applicable European food contact material legislation.
The materials used are produced in line with the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, and where applicable Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
Our cold storage strip curtains also support FSA and HACCP compliance for UK food processing, distribution, and retail environments. They help maintain the cold chain during loading and unloading operations.
Quick Access Without Opening
Food safe strip curtains and doors allow quick access between food packing lines or doorways. Unlike AKON solid curtain food safe curtains which roll side to side on a curtain track, the strip curtains allow walk-through access. This provides rapid passage for people, pallet trucks, and products without breaking the cold chain.
