Standard curtains have a gap of approximately 20 to 25 mm between the bottom of the track and the top of the curtain.

Can the track be cut to size on site?

Yes. The track is designed to be cut on site using a standard hacksaw or reciprocating saw for a bespoke fit.

Accordion strip doors are the ideal solution for door openings that require curtains which need to be periodically moved completely out of the way. During the coldest winter months or the height of summer, simply close the industrial accordion strip doors to conserve energy and maintain comfortable working conditions.

Another common application is vehicle wash bays, where cars and vans need to pass through without dirty strips scratching the paintwork. The concertina action lets operators fold the entire curtain to one side in seconds.

Folding Options

The strip doors can be opened and closed in one of three configurations. Simply choose the version that works best for your application.

Bi-Parting - The PVC strips move to the left and right simultaneously
Single to Right - The PVC strips fold to the right-hand side
Single to Left - The PVC strips fold to the left-hand side

Mounting Options

The strip doors can be mounted in one of three ways based on your wall configuration.

Stand-Off - Mounted away from the wall to clear roller shutter drums
Header - Mounted inside the door jamb or lintel
Wall Face - Mounted directly to the face of the wall

Additional Measurements

Retracted width may take up to 20% of the total width of the opening.
If bi-parting, each side would occupy approximately 10%.
Arm / projection measures 500 mm from the wall face.

Individual strips can be quickly replaced if damaged, and each bespoke accordion-style strip door is built for years of reliable use. All mounting hardware is manufactured from galvanised steel for long-lasting corrosion resistance in demanding industrial environments.

Manual Operation

Simply pull lightly on the cord to open and close the concertina strip doors. The cord is positioned at the far right or far left of the door. Manual operation is ideal where opening and closing is infrequent, avoiding the additional cost of a motorised system when traffic levels are light.
