These industrial outdoor tarp walls are constructed of the same vinyl we use in heavy-duty warehouse operations.

Vinyl Material

Unlike indoor industrial curtain walls, outdoor industrial tarp curtain walls are exposed to wind, cold, rain, and UV light from the sun. This requires the material to be at least an 18oz or 22oz coated vinyl. It is important that the material is a coated Vinyl as laminates when exposed to the cold can experience cold crack. The tarps can remain up for months to no end and still look in pristine condition; not to mention they are really quick and easy to clean. We can also provide insulated outdoor curtains for maintaining temperatures inside of your facility.

Clear Vision Panels

Vision panels can be added to allow for a clear line
of sight through the curtain. The vision panels
can be made to almost any size per request.

Custom Shapes

Need to fill an area that has a peak or an odd shape.
We can do that for you. Just provide a hand sketch
of the design, and we can make it.

Floor Sweeps

A floor sweep seals the open area between the
curtain and the floor. It attaches to the main
curtain by Velcro. They are as wide as the entire
length of the curtain.

Bottom Pipe Pockets

Add a pocket at the bottom for a pipe to weigh
down the outdoor curtain. Pipes are not supplied,
but the pocket is at no additional charge.

Chain Weights

For curtains that need to open but also have
some weight at the bottom, we can add a chain
pocket at no additional cost. We can also supply
the galvanized chain, if needed.

Anchor Straps

Velcro straps hold your curtain in place if a
breeze or if a more secure curtain is needed.
These anchors feature Velcro straps that loop
through a D-ring, which is anchored into the
cement floor. Typically spaced every 1.2 m.

Connecting Curtains / Entry

Velcro is used to connect curtain sections
together to form larger curtain walls. The
Velcro also serves as an access points for
larger curtains and makes them easier to

How to Measure

Width

Measure the distance that you are trying to cover and then add 5% to that dimension and enter it into the width box.
TIP - The reason you want to add 5% is for proper drape of the curtain so it properly covers the span.

Height

Measure the distance from the floor to the above mounting point (from where you would attach the curtain track) and subtract 7.6 cm, and then input it into the height box.
TIP - If you are not using any hardware, then you don't need to subtract the 7.6 cm
TIP - If you want to engage the floor, then select the floor sweep option on this form.

What is the spacing from the bottom of the track to the top of the curtain?
Standard curtains have approximately 9.5 cm to 2.5 cm of a gap from the bottom of the track to the top of the curtain.

What are the dimensions of the track?

Can the track be cut to size on site?
Yes, the track is made to be field cut on site using a hacksaw or Sawzall.

How much width does the radius corner add to the length?

The radius corner is 61 cm in diameter. The radius corner will add 61 cm to each dimension.
For example, if you have 305 cm of curtain track then a radius corner will make the overall length of side “A” 305 cm + 61 cm = 366 cm.

How does the track go together?
The track is modular in design and will arrive in pieces that have a simple bolt-together design.

How close together do I need the track supports?
The track should be supported approximately every 1.5 metres with a track support. The farther apart the track supports, the greater the deflection. If you have a relatively short curtain, you can space the supports out a little farther. You will receive enough track supports with your order to achieve this 1.5 metre spacing.

Can I simply drill straight through the track and into the ceiling / structure?
Yes. This is called a flush-mount installation and is very common. Simply drill through the middle of the track and use a small wood screw, bolt, Tek screw…etc into your structure. Space the holes about every 1–1.5 metres.

How hard is it to install the industrial curtain track?
It is very easy. All of the components simply fit together and connect with set screws. The installation is very intuitive. If you have any difficulty, simply call or email us, and we will walk you through the process.

Will the track rust? Can it be used in wet environments?
The track is hot-dip galvanized (HDG), which protects steel from corrosion in harsh environments, providing decades of maintenance-free longevity. Its corrosion rate is typically 1/30 of bare steel in the same conditions.
