Choose The Right Setup
Tips For Choosing The Right Curtain
As a long-established supplier of industrial partition curtains, we recommend following these practical guidelines to ensure a successful installation and a curtain that performs exactly as needed.
Tip #1 – Assess the environment where the industrial vinyl curtain will be installed. Some facilities present harsh conditions—excessive welding sparks, extreme temperature variations, or contact with abrasive materials—that can cause premature wear if the wrong material is selected. Take photographs of the installation area and note what elements are present. With this information, we can recommend the correct material specification for long-term durability.
Tip #2 – Consider how the curtain will be hung. Most partitions hang vertically from overhead structure using direct-mount brackets for lower ceilings or threaded rod for taller spaces. Connectors are available for I-beams, purlins, and roof decks. Note the type of structure above the curtain so we can recommend the correct mounting hardware for your application.
Tip #3 – If you need through-access from one side to the other, specify a side-to-side trolley track. This allows the curtain to slide along on roller hooks with nylon wheels. For larger partitions—such as warehouse divider curtains—strip doors can be incorporated so forklifts and pedestrians can pass through without moving the curtain itself.
